Five New Salem Deeds Recorded in Past Month, None Disclose a Sale Price
Five properties changed hands in New Salem between July 24 and August 22, according to Franklin County Registry of Deeds records, but none of the deeds disclosed a sale price, so a price range and median cannot be reported. Elm Street saw two of the five transfers, at 84 and 54 Elm St.; the other three were on Blackington Road, Orange Road and South Main Street. Three sellers were banks or a credit union, and one buyer was a debt-collection firm. Without pricing data, the period's transaction count alone does not indicate whether the local market is active or quiet.
