New Salem recorded 13 property deeds between Sept. 11 and Oct. 10, but only three carry a listed sale price so far: $250,000 for 105 West St., $150,000 for 9 South Main St., and $50,000 for 58 Whitaker Rd., putting the median at $150,000. The remaining 10 transfers show no price yet, typical of the registry's reporting lag rather than any withheld information. Several of the period's deeds, including transfers on Elm Street, Fay Road and William Rice Road, moved property within the same family or into a trust, and four deeds involved a bank or credit union as buyer or seller. With most prices still pending, the data available does not yet support a read on whether the market was strong or soft this period.
