New Salem recorded 11 property transfers between Sept. 18 and Oct. 17, but only three carried a sale price in registry data so far. Those three ranged from $50,000 to $250,000, with a median of $150,000.

New Salem recorded 11 property transfers between Sept. 18 and Oct. 17, but only three carried a sale price in registry data so far. Those three ranged from $50,000 to $250,000, with a median of $150,000. The month's top recorded sale was 105 West St at $250,000, sold to UMassFive College Federal Credit Union. All three priced transactions involved a bank or credit union as buyer. The remaining eight transfers, including two family trust transactions on Elm Street and Fay Road, have no price yet available. With most prices still pending, the data does not yet support a clear read on market tone for the period.
