New Salem Records Seven Deeds in August, but Only One Discloses a Sale Price
Seven deeds were recorded in New Salem between July 31 and Aug. 29, 2026, but only one disclosed a sale price: 10 Branch Bridge Rd., which transferred from David J. Mallet to Athol Credit Union for $116,000 on Aug. 28. With six of seven transactions carrying no consideration amount, a reliable price range or median cannot be established for the period. Several transfers involved institutional sellers or buyers, including banks and a credit union, and one trust-side conveyance was recorded on Elm St. The data is too limited to characterize overall market conditions this period.
