Board of Selectmen appoints Gordon and Cloutier to regional committees

New Salem selectboard appoints two to regional roles. The Board of Selectmen unanimously appointed Randy Gordon to the Mahar Regional Agreement Subcommittee and Susan Cloutier as FRCOG Councilor for a one-year term. Cloutier will engage with regional planning initiatives including a rural planning group spanning eastern communities along Route 2.
The Board also discussed building maintenance issues, including hazardous conditions in town facilities, and agreed to fund air conditioning improvements for the Town Coordinator's office while exploring whether budget allocations can be shifted to address urgent repairs.
