Board of Health approves electronics disposal fee waiver

New Salem Board of Health advances eviction proceeding, approves electronics fee waiver. The Board unanimously approved a fee waiver for town electronics disposal on April 7 after learning only televisions were collected during a recent pickup. Health Agent Matthew Fortier reported that Town Counsel pro tempore Andrew Lechner will move forward with eviction at 710 Daniel Shays Highway, with a court date expected within two to three weeks.

The Board also reviewed the condemned property at 210 Wendell Road, which is located near the elementary school and a stream entering the Quabbin Reservoir.
