New Salem Council on Aging hires lunch coordinators for Friday program. The council voted to hire Jen Boron and Lisa Dewitt to provide lunch service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on alternating months at $20 per hour plus food costs, with the arrangement to be evaluated after six months. Sue Arnold, chair, will manage the coordinators.
The council also voted to allocate up to $200 for a new anti-gravity chair for the foot clinic. Treasurer Tim White reported a current balance of $6,930.66, with $452.92 in the town account and $2,549.88 in donations.
