New Salem Records 13 Property Transfers in September, Most Sale Prices Still Pending

New Salem recorded 13 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only three carried a sale price so far: $50,000, $60,000 and $150,000, for a median of $60,000. The remaining 10 sales have no price on file yet, consistent with the registry's typical reporting lag rather than any withheld information. The month's top recorded sale was 9 South Main St. for $150,000, bought by Cornerstone Bank from Michael D. Dupont and Stacy E. Senflug. Whitaker Road was the only street with more than one transfer. Several other filings were trust or estate transfers within the same family, and financial institutions were buyer or seller in six of the 13 deeds. With most prices still pending, the data does not yet support a read on market tone beyond the raw count of transfers.
