Only 2 of 11 New Salem property sales carry a recorded price this period

New Salem recorded 11 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only two carry a sale price so far: $50,000 and $60,000, for a median of $55,000. The top recorded sale was 190 Neilson Rd at $60,000, sold to Greenfield Cooperative Bank. Six of the 11 deeds involved a bank, credit union or loan servicer as buyer or seller, and two pairs of transfers, on Neilson Road and Blackinton Road, shared a street name. Two family trust transfers and one estate sale also appear in the data. With price data pending on nine of 11 deeds, the market's direction this period is not yet clear from the numbers available.
